Hi everyone! We had a great morning fishing out at a couple different ponds. No bites... although we're used to that by now ;).
It's windy and drizzly today so I figured I'd write another home decor post. The last time I shared a Nantucket decor post was back in March. Today I'm sharing our bedroom with you, though I can't take credit for the design or decor. It's actually a guest room (my real childhood bedroom has two twin beds in it, which is not so convenient for my now-married adult life) but we've taken over this room until we figure out the twin bed situation!

I took these photos earlier today and wanted to share this fun new belt. The patent leather is so soft (who knew patent leather could be soft?!). I received it from emerging belt designer Deborah Elle, whose belts are currently carried in stores in Boston, Wellesley, and Lexington at $240 each but will soon also be available online.
I'm not a tiny person, but usually have trouble finding belts that fit my waist. Debbie shared a great tip: if a belt is too loose, weave it over and under a few times! So simple, but genius.
Denim lovers rejoice. I was really excited to hear about Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply brand, and even more so to hear they are opening their first U.S. location in our very own Boston.
Nestled on Newbury Street down by Mass Ave, Ralph Lauren has redone its former Rugby space to create a store with a cool vintage-y feel. I stopped by today and was pleasantly surprised to find lots of fun, affordable, and embellished-but-wearable everyday pieces. I totally fell in love with these shorts:
During the month of May, they're donating 15% of all proceeds to the One Fund Boston, which has already raised $28MM to help people affected by the Boston marathon bombings. Ralph Lauren also sent me some pieces that I hope to share with you in some outfit posts soon!

This weekend my college girlfriends came to visit. Although we had planned the trip months ago, timing couldn't have been better. It was so good to catch up, gab, indulge in massages, wine and dine ourselves, and just "hit refresh."
