You guys, I can't even deal. My sister and I left the office for 5 minutes to take some outfit photos, and came back to this:
I'm wearing my new Nike Dunks today, but our company holiday party is tonight so I brought these Louboutins to change into later.
Apparently my puppy didn't appreciate being left alone, because she went into my office and went to town on her new found chew toy. So sad!Suffice it to say, I will now be wearing sneakers to our holiday party.
Patent leather can't be repaired but it looks like your dog only really chewed off the plastic cap and exposed the inner rod. I recommend making a stop by George's shoe repair in the South End (amazingly cheap too), if there's anything that can be done, George can do it. Tell him the girl with the studded handbag sent you!
Send them to Santanta Creative Ltd, http://www.santanacreative.com/main.php, they have a store in Atlanta and whoever told you patent leather can't be repaired, is lying to you. It won't be cheap, but it beats the heck out of paying for a new pair (if you love that pair) I took in a pair of Louboutin camel color patent leather Decolettes that had nicked from walking on cobblestones, they repaired the heel and the leather for around 160 I believe. They are the only shoe store that does repairs for Neimans/Jimmy choo here in Atlanta, they're amazing.
Hi Elissa, thanks so much for the rec! If I can't find a cobbler in Boston then I will definitely call them! $160 is $$ but I will try anything to repair one of my favorite pair of shoes!
Oh you poor thing!! Similar situation once with my beautiful puppy and I was like you - couldn't deal, in fact I was so upset I called my mum to ask her to come get the shoes and see whether they could be fixed, I was too afraid to look! I hope the party was still fun, your outfit was great as always :)
Ah, did you end up getting yours repaired? So sad! The party was lots of fun -thanks for your sweet message! Although someone DID comment on how casually dressed I was, hehe... Blame it on the pup! ;)
Sadly no - new Bally flats in the bin :( He's never gotten to a pair of Loubs, thank goodness! But, I knew getting a puppy, esp for a city apartment, there'd be some learning curves - overall, he's probably the best behaved dog I've ever had and we love him to bits of course, as I'm sure you guys do with your lovely one!
Yikes, that reminds me of when my dog was a puppy. They are so sneaky! Good luck, I think it can be repaired since it is just the heel. I think the front of the shoe will be much trickier.
I'm so sorry about your shoes but honestly Bettina...the outfit looks pretty darn great with the Nikes. Your shoe-tastrophe definitely beats mine! Have a great Friday :)
Hi Alana! It's definitely a risk in having a puppy... but the trade off of companionship and love is so worth it. Thanks for your sweet words and for stopping by!
Ouch! Poor Louby! By the way love the Bal jacket! Black is a good choice. What size did you get at the end? I took mine to Vienna recently and I forgot how much I missed the smell! Divine.... ;P

Hi Mrs C! I got a size 36. It's a little tight so I also got another one in Militaire -- sized up to a 38 and it feels much better, especially over sweaters and thick layers. Love them both though!
Oh no!!! My heart sank when I saw that photo. That must have been devastating. Hopefully it can be repaired. Well, at least you look fabulous in this outfit! LOVE those sneakers!
Ahhhh! That is a tragedy! Good thing your puppy is soooo cute. I'm crying tears for you! On the up side, you look fabulous in tennis shoes too! Great outfit and love the color combo!
